ANALOG DELAY
The Analog Delay is a versatile bucket brigade delay module, built around the V3205 chip and V571 compander, with a range of creative features including tap tempo.
In normal operation, you can set delay times between 20ms and 208ms. However, the TAP and SYNC functions allow you to push the delay time much further—up to four seconds—introducing a lo-fi, degraded sound as the delay length increases. Simply adjust the Delay Time knob to return to standard operation.
The Delay Time CV Input lets you modulate delay time with an external control voltage, creating warping effects similar to manually tweaking the delay time knob. At shorter delay times, this can even produce a flanging effect.
The SYNC Input synchronizes the delay time to external clock or LFO signals, giving you precise control over rhythm and timing.
The Send/Return loop enables you to insert external effects or filters into the delay's feedback path. The Send jack also functions as a Wet-Only Output, allowing you to output just the delayed signal.
The Feedback knob is designed to produce infinite feedback when fully turned up, but an internal Repeats Trim Pot lets you fine-tune the feedback range to suit your needs.
